简介： Princess Areeyah "Mikay" Wangchuck, portrayed by Kathryn Bernardo, was nurtured within the embrace of her adoptive family. She shares an especially close bond with her father, Dinoy Maghirang (Dominic Ochoa), her mother, and her two sisters. Yet, shrouded in secrecy from them all, she is the sole daughter of the revered King Anand Wangchuck (Albert Martinez) and the noble Queen Isabel Wangchuck (Precious Lara Quigaman). She is the enigmatic, long-lost princess of the fictional realm of Yangdon, a kingdom inspired by the real-world nation of Bhutan.

As a tender child, Mikay was forcibly brought to the Philippines following a harrowing attempt on her life. Ashi Behati (Gretchen Barretto), a royal figure and a highly influential official, harbored ambitions to seize the throne of Yangdon for her son, Prince Jao (Enrique Gil). Behati orchestrated a sinister plot, ordering the assassination of Queen Isabel and the infant Areeyah by orchestrating a bombing that sent Queen Isabel's convoy plummeting off a cliff. Tragically, only the queen perished. Behati then dispatched her executive assistant, Yin Hwan Dee (Niña Dolino), to eliminate the child. However, driven by a sense of conscience, Yin Hwan Dee betrayed her orders, sparing the child's life. She deceitfully informed Behati of her failure, and in a moment of courage, she whisked the infant away, entrusting her to the care of Esmeralda (Sharmaine Suarez), a Filipina employed in Yangdon. Unbeknownst to Esmeralda, she was nurturing the future princess of Yangdon. The story unfolds across a total of 210 captivating episodes.
