简介：
The seventh season of the series commenced its broadcast on September 23, 2008, occupying a fresh 10:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time) slot on Tuesdays. Steven Weber was inducted into the ensemble cast for the initial five episodes, portraying the character of Special Agent Clark Medina, who served as Jack's interim supervisor. The episodes evenly balanced the narrative between the unfolding missing persons cases and Medina's escalating conflict with Jack. It was revealed that Medina's mission was not merely to succeed Jack but also to persuade him to resign from the bureau. However, Medina ultimately acknowledges his inability to persuade Jack to resign and instead employs Jack in a strategic maneuver to advance his own career prospects. In exchange, he facilitates Jack's reinstatement to his former position. After regaining his role as Unit Supervisor, Jack endeavors to mend his relationship with Sam and assumes guardianship of his older daughter, Hanna. The series concludes with Jack finally severing his fluctuating romantic connection with Sam, reaching a state of reconciliation with Hanna; Sam and Brian opt to cohabitate to raise their son; and the team joins in celebrating the wedding of Danny and Elena.
