简介： A harried working mother embarks on a musical journey by forming a garage band with her neighbor and a female postal worker. In the sitcom "Rita Rocks," Nicole Sullivan takes on the role of Rita Clemens, a tirelessly occupied wife and mother who finds herself in the midst of a profound identity crisis. This turmoil encompasses efforts to nurture her relationship with her husband, Jay (portrayed by Richard Ruccolo), managing the needs of her nine-year-old daughter, Shannon (played by Kelly Gould), and dealing with the rebellious nature of her teenage daughter, Hallie (Natalie Dreyfuss), as well as her persistent boyfriend, Kip (Raviv Ullman). Overwhelmed by a missed promotion at work, Rita reaches her breaking point. In a quest to rediscover her youthful spirit, she retrieves her old guitar and assembles a garage band, enlisting the help of her inquisitive postal carrier, Patty (Tisha Campbell-Martin), and her laid-off neighbor, Owen (guest star Ian Gomez), in the hope of reigniting the spark in her life.
