简介： Frost and his team lend their support to RSPCA Officer Christine Moorhead in dismantling an illicit dog fighting syndicate, yet the mastermind behind it, local gangster Gerry Berland, manages to slip through their grasp. Among Christine's assistants, Brian, falls victim to a stabbing at the hands of Berland's ruthless son, Sean, who mistakenly thinks Brian informed the police about the ring. Christine identifies Sean and his confederate, Neil. Berland orchestrates alibis for the pair. Initially shocked, his wife Sally joins in the conspiracy, as she has long been manipulated by him in controlling her life. She coerces Neil's unsuspecting and appalled parents into perpetuating the deceit. Despite his efforts to deter Christine, Berland dispatches a brute, Lisowski, to burn down the RSPCA facility, where Christine is sheltering her rescued dogs. Simultaneously, an enigmatic criminal is replicating unsolved crimes from Frost's case files from years past. As Jack sets out to save Christine, he discovers a chilling message scrawled on his driveway: 'You Die Next.'
