简介： Bulman, a renowned TV series from Granada that aired between 1985 and 1987, continued the narrative of the principal character from the earlier series, XYY Man and Strangers. The series drew its origins - increasingly with a relaxed adherence - from the character depicted in the XYY Man novels penned by Kenneth Royce.

In this particular rendition, the distinguished actor Don Henderson reprised his role as the ex-Detective Chief Inspector George Bulman, who, on the surface, had retired from law enforcement and taken up the craft of clock restoration. Yet, Bulman remained an active private investigator, with the capable Lucy McGinty, portrayed by Siobhan Redmond, serving as his astute assistant.

The duo frequently found themselves ensnared in the shadowy realm of the secret service, primarily through the cunning manipulations of the security chief, Dugdale, played by Thorley Walters, or through Bulman's past connection with his former police superior, Lambie, as portrayed by Mark McManus.
