简介：
Rebecca continues to harbor a stinging resentment over Evan Drake's relocation to Japan. As a result, she redirects her energies towards advancing her career and indulging in the luxury of acquiring a Mercedes. She reasons that Evan took with him to Japan the company's core talent, thereby eliminating the detractors who had once deemed her a "quitter." Nonetheless, beneath the surface, her defenses remain vulnerable. This is evident when Sam extends an invitation for another date, and despite a lukewarm response, Rebecca accepts, her enthusiasm lukewarm at best.
As Rebecca and Sam prepare for their first date, their plans are disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Rebecca's new boss, Greg Stone, at the bar. A boss-obsession takes hold of Rebecca, and upon spotting Mr. Stone, she abruptly parts ways with Sam, her affection for him momentarily overshadowed by the allure of her boss. For Rebecca, it's a case of love at first sight revisited. However, Greg's actions burst her bubble when he concludes that the bar thrived under Sam's leadership and, consequently, appoints Sam as the new manager, terminating Rebecca's employment.
The news of her sudden dismissal sends Rebecca into a profound state of shock, while it also casts a pall over Sam, who harbors no desire to manage the bar in a corporate manner.
