简介： The 1991 FIA Formula One World Championship marked the 45th instalment of the esteemed FIA Formula One motor racing series. This compelling season, which officially commenced on March 10th, 1991, culminated on November 3rd following a total of sixteen enthralling races. The championship was capped by Ayrton Senna securing his third, and ultimately final, Drivers' World Championship, while McLaren-Honda celebrated their fourth successive Constructors' Championship. Senna triumphed in a remarkable seven out of the sixteen races, with his principal adversary for the title being Nigel Mansell, who captured five victories during his first campaign with Williams upon his return. Senna's formidable adversary, Alain Prost, was unable to claim a single race win with Ferrari and was ultimately dismissed from the team before the season concluded, amidst a contentious dispute. The 1991 season also witnessed the debuts of future world champions Michael Schumacher and Mika Häkkinen, as well as the retirement of the esteemed three-time world champion Nelson Piquet.
