简介： Nick Bonetti is a seasoned officer of the New York City police force, who inadvertently discharged his weapon, resulting in a young boy sustaining injury. Recognizing that the incident would continue to stir considerable unrest, his department deemed it prudent for him to temporarily step away from the city. Consequently, he was dispatched to California—a destination that, to his mind, felt as alien as stepping onto another world. For the residents of the Golden State, he was an unfamiliar presence, a stranger in their midst.

Upon his arrival, Bonetti was paired with a canine companion named Tequila. Though Tequila lacked the legendary prowess of Rin Tin Tin, the two forged ahead with their partnership, determined to work together to the best of their abilities.
