简介：
Thomas Sullivan Magnum, III was raised in the shadow of a naval officer father, who passed away when Magnum was just ten years old. At the age of 18, he entered the Naval Academy. As a third-generation naval officer, Magnum excelled in his studies, graduated with distinction, and became a Navy SEAL. He was deployed to Vietnam, where he forged lifelong friendships with Theodore "TC" Calvin and Orville "Rick" Wright.
Post-war, Magnum was transferred to Naval Intelligence and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. His comrades retired from military service, with TC starting a helicopter tour company, and Rick managing a club. At the age of 33, Magnum awoke to a startling realization: he had never been 23. He made the bold decision to leave the Navy, obtained a private investigator's license, and established his practice in Hawaii.
Magnum was soon employed by the world-famous author and playboy, Robin Masters, to oversee security at Robin's Nest, a vast estate nestled on the north shores of Oahu. Masters traveled extensively, visiting his various estates and penning best-selling novels. Robin's Nest was administered by Jonathan Quayle Higgins III, a gentleman of English descent and a descendant of a Duke. He had served with distinction in the Royal Army as a Sergeant Major.
Magnum resided in Robin's guesthouse and drove a Ferrari, much to Higgins's chagrin. Despite the outward disdain, a deep mutual respect flourished between them. The series follows Magnum on a myriad of thrilling escapades, intertwining with clients, guests at the estate, and even delving into the secrets of his Vietnam days.
Throughout his adventures, Magnum occasionally calls upon the aid of his friends, TC and Rick, Assistant District Attorney Carol Baldwin, his contacts in Naval Intelligence, and even Higgins, who lends a hand when needed. The series, penned by Tom, captivates audiences with its engaging storytelling and complex characters.
