简介： Bertie has returned to New York, his heart captivated by the portrait painter Gwladys Pendlebury. However, his aunt, Agatha, is far from enchanted with the portrait she commissioned of Bertie. Her frustration intensifies when her errant twin sons, entrusted to Bertie's care before being dispatched to colonial assignments, manage to escape and instead chase after a cabaret singer. Tuppy Glossop arrives with the intention of selling his family's secret recipe for cock-a-leekie soup to the soup tycoon Slingsby, in hopes of securing the funds for his impending marriage to Elizabeth. Meanwhile, the slimy advertising man Lucius Pim cunningly seizes Gwladys from Bertie's grasp and inadvertently turns Aunt Agatha into the unwitting emblem for Slingsby's soups, as her image adorns every billboard across New York City.
