简介： This series, drawing inspiration from the comedic sketches of actress Margaret Cho, delves into the cultural collisions that arise between a Korean mother steeped in tradition and her daughter, who has embraced a thoroughly Americanized lifestyle. The mother yearns for Margaret to marry 'respectable' men—doctors, lawyers, scientists, all of Korean descent—while her daughter's heart is captivated by Caucasian bikers, musicians, and any other suitor her mother is bound to disdain. Throughout these entanglements, the father wisely refrains from intervening, choosing instead to remain on the sidelines.
