简介： Marion Hill, portrayed by LL Cool J, is a distinguished former professional football player who once donned the uniform of the Los Angeles Raiders. Amidst financial straits, Marion finds himself compelled to lease out the majority of his residence's rooms to a newly separated single mother, Jackie Warren, played by Debbie Allen. Alongside her, Marion is also hosting her two children, Tiffany, essayed by Maia Campbell, and Austin, portrayed by Jeffery Wood.

Upon reaching the second season of the series, it underwent a transformation, shifting its focus to more mature themes. Jackie and Austin embarked on a journey back to the East, while Tiffany remained under Marion's care to complete her high school education. The third season welcomed two new additions to the cast. Alfonso Ribeiro, a renowned actor from the hit series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," joined as Dr. Maxwell "Max" Stanton. Complementing the ensemble was Kim Wayans, a member of the celebrated comedy troupe "In Living Color," who portrayed Tonia Harris. Both Dr. Maxwell and Tonia Harris played pivotal roles in assisting Marion in the management of the Los Angeles sports clinic that he owns.
