简介： Jim Profit toils for a global corporation, and his ascent through the ranks is marked by a relentless pursuit of success, employing any tactic at his disposal, from bribery to blackmail, intimidation, and even the brink of violence. Within the company, from the very top, with President Charles Gracen himself, there is a collective blindness to his shadowy nature. Indeed, Gracen holds Profit in such high regard that he considers him a paragon of virtue. Yet, Joanne Meltzer, the company's seasoned security chief, beholds in his gaze a malevolent essence. As Jack Walters, her superior, delves into the company's web of irregularities, he entrusts Joanne with the task of uncovering the truth. Initially, the individual she confronts implicates Profit as the orchestrator of the anomalies. However, upon Profit's discovery of this, he cunningly persuades the witness to recant her allegations to Joanne. Despite the deceit, Joanne is resolute in her conviction that Profit is a malefactor. Simultaneously, Profit is on a mission to eliminate any evidence or individual that could corroborate her suspicions.
