简介： In this -far less successful, and consequently, shorter-lived- Baywatch spin-off series, the steadfast lieutenant, Mitch Buchannon, who commands the lifeguards on an LA county beach, dons a dual role by moonlighting as a private detective. His nocturnal pursuits, often literal, are encapsulated in the show's title. As a detective, he delves into and resolves a myriad of crimes, frequently linked to his cherished beach and/or the vast ocean (for instance, as a smuggling route, a clandestine hiding place, or a disposal site). Alongside him in this venture are various supporting characters, the lineup of which fluctuates throughout the series, including the youthful lifeguard, Griff Walker.
