简介： An intricate, poignant narrative about the trials and tribulations of life in a sprawling, daunting metropolis, in this instance, London. The sorrowful, senseless, and fruitless assassination of a radiant, youthful woman, who had only just begun her voyage through the journey of life, serves as a catalyst for transformative change within a vast and varied collection of individuals, who initially seemed to be tangentially unrelated to this harrowing occurrence. As the waves of change propagate, these individuals find themselves under ever-growing pressure to confront the stark realities of their existence and abandon the comfortable illusions they once believed were true. Observing the entire unfolding drama with a jaundiced eye and a seasoned dismissive demeanor, stands Gary Rickey, whose original name was Billy Rickey, a London-based broadsheet food critic from a town of the same name.
