简介： In the year 2021, nestled far beneath the ocean's shimmering expanse, a colossal, marvelously advanced facility looms: Sealab. This international scientific hub boasts an annual budget in the trillions and is committed to the rigorous pursuit and exploration of humanity's ultimate frontier. The crew of Sealab is tasked with investigating the viability of underwater colonization. By this juncture, the Earth's surface has become increasingly overpopulated, overheated, and unappealing. Yet, much like many government-funded institutions, Sealab is staffed by a motley crew of discontented souls and misfits who would have been deemed unsuitable for employment in the private sector. They fail to conduct meaningful research, instead dedicating their time to squabbles and idle mischief. The crew has maneuvered their hapless leader, Captain Murphy, into a state of compliance, content to clock in and collect substantial hazardous-duty pay, while neglecting their primary mission.
