简介： Filmed in the vibrant streets of London, the FOX cop series "Keen Eddie" featured Mark Valley in the lead role as Eddie Arlette, a New York City police detective. After a spectacularly botched drug bust that brought him close to disgrace and dismissal, Eddie was assigned to transfer to London's Scotland Yard with the directive to rebuild his career from the very foundation. Despite facing a series of daunting setbacks and blunders, Eddie steadfastly performed his duties, and in the process, both he and his Scotland Yard colleagues gained a wealth of knowledge about each other's countries and cultures that far exceeded their expectations.

Sienna Miller played the role of Eddie's reluctant flatmate, Fiona Bickerton. The cast was further enhanced by Colin Salmon as Eddie's stern and highly critical Yard superior, Supt. Johnson; Julian Rhind-Tutt as Eddie's seemingly prim and proper partner, Rudy (who, among other things, feigned marriage to attend secretive wife-swapping parties); and a pair of animal regulars, Eddie's loyal dog, Pete, and Fiona's elegant cat, Duchess.

Initially scheduled for its debut in January 2003, "Keen Eddie" was postponed until June of the same year. The delay was reportedly to allow the producers to rework the series, transforming it from a straightforward dramatic-action series into a blend of comedy and drama.
