简介： In 1996, a shooter unleashed a barrage of gunfire from the elevated level of a multistoried parking structure, targeting pedestrians along Whitewater High Street. This tragic incident has since been infamously labeled the Whitewater Massacre. Among the bereaved was Sgt. Nick Patterson, a tactical squad police officer who was Supt. Peter Boyd's closest confidant. Patterson's police-issued Glock pistol mysteriously vanished on that fateful day, only to resurface seven years later in the hands of two boys, approximately 10 miles away from Whitewater. Boyd, along with his team, were tasked with unraveling the enigma of the vanished firearm as the defense attorney for the convicted sniper cast doubt on his client's conviction. As the investigation progressed, the team began to unearth anomalies that could potentially suggest that the convicted perpetrator, Carl Mackenzie, who steadfastly claimed his innocence, might have been the victim of an erroneous conviction.
