简介：
Why do wedding vows often speak of "sickness and health, richer and poorer, for better or for worse, 'til death do you part"? They do so because life is inherently unpredictable—there are moments of joy and many that are fraught with hardship. Eventually, both partners will face illness, financial challenges, and the reality of not sleeping with anyone else, as they will be together until the end.

'Til Death, a comedy featuring middle-aged Eddie (portrayed by Brad Garrett, "Everybody Loves Raymond") and Joy Stark (played by Joely Fisher, "Desperate Housewives"), is set on the 8,743rd day of their marriage. They have accumulated their share of life's battles, evident in their war wounds. Their newlywed neighbors, Steph (Kat Foster, "Law & Order") and Jeff Woodcock (Eddie Kaye Thomas, "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle"), are a charming duo, full of optimism and passion, married for just 12 days. The series explores the contrast between new and seasoned marriages, the challenge of maintaining romance, and the necessity of sticking together for life's vicissitudes, from mundane tasks like driving someone to the hospital for surgery to facing the ultimate challenge: aging together.
Eddie is a skeptical realist who, despite his self-proclaimed expertise on most matters, is a high school history teacher. He has internalized the lessons of history and applies their fundamental principles to his own marriage—believing all conflicts stem from power struggles, land disputes, and resource management, and that women often seek to quash the joy. A seasoned combatant in the marriage wars, Eddie freely imparts his wisdom to Jeff, the youthful and idealistic vice principal of his school. Despite his brash and sarcastic demeanor, Joy is equally fervent in her love for Eddie, matching his passion with equal fervor.
