简介：
"The Jaquie Brown Diaries" introduces a fresh satirical comedy series, where the character Jaquie Brown embodies an insecure, status-obsessed journalist, providing light-hearted relief on a hard-hitting current affairs program.
In each episode, Jaquie Brown employs various tactics to boost her media presence, utilizing her own strategies as well as those of her ethically compromised publicist, Kim Sharee. Simultaneously, she navigates the challenges of a new colleague—a stunning, witty, and multifaceted reporter named Serita Singh (portrayed by Madeleine Sami). Serita's journalism style is strikingly akin to Jaquie's, and it appears she is rapidly overshadowing her.
The series employs satire to dissect the life of a C-list celebrity, vividly illustrating the excesses of society supplements in newspapers as Jaquie engages in conversations, romantic escapades, and occasionally delivers a dose of tough love to many of New Zealand's most renowned celebrities.
Prominent figures such as Helen Clark, Anika Moa, Jackie Clarke, and Antony Starr are just a few of the recognizable faces that will grace the screen throughout the six-part, half-hour series.
